Service Description
Repairing flutes, clarinet and saxophones can be a lot. Sometimes the instrument just needs a light adjustment to function. Other times, a few misalignments in a couple of keys may need to be corrected, or some adjustment caps may need to be replaced. Replacing some pads can get the instrument back into top shape. Inertia in the key system may mean that this needs to be lubricated, or the spring tension needs to be adjusted. There may be a fault in the neck. This could be a bad pad, a worn mouthpiece cap or an incorrect position of the octave bar. You may have been unfortunate enough to have dropped your instrument on the ground, so there have been dents, misalignments and/or other major or minor damage that needs to be fixed. A short trip to our workshop can then help. There may be many reasons why your instrument is not working properly! Our workshop carries out all types of repairs, large and small. If you have any faults with your instrument that can be rectified by carrying out any of the above-mentioned repairs, we operate on an hourly rate. Most tasks are routine work, and you as a customer will receive a relatively fixed price estimate, after a specific assessment of the condition of the instrument. The price you are quoted includes working hours, material consumption, parts, etc. and is incl. VAT. .
